Jenna Donohue!

had the honor of representing her high school at the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming to connect with the Eastern Shoshone and Northern Arapaho Tribes. Jenna aspires to be a neurologist and will attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham in the fall. She plans on majoring in neuroscience and studying pre-med.


Update 2026:  Congratulation to Jenna who graduated in May of 2026 with a 4.0 GPA! Jenna has accepted 2 research jobs at UAB, one in astrocyte biology and the other in neuroengineering. She is studying for the MCAT and she prepares to apply for medical school for next May.




 Jenna Donohue’s desire to become a doctor was inspired by her experience growing up as a sibling of a sister with disabilities. An advocate for the intellectually disabled, she has coached the Special Olympics Swim Team and worked in a retirement home throughout high school. Her love of swimming began at ten when she joined the Green Oaks Gators Summer Swim team, where she now works as an assistant coach. Jenna is a 2022 graduate of Arapahoe High School in Littleton, Colorado, lettering four times in swimming while maintaining a 4.2 GPA with 8 AP classes. As a member of the National Honor Society,  Kiwanis Key Club, and a violinist for the school orchestra, she
